There are two principal uses for replacement gear sets: -

• For use on your own created Timber Garage Door
  
• Replacing the gear on an existing branded garage door

There are four choices:

1. "Traditional" Retractable Gear - with jamb mounted springs and box section arms used mainly on heavier doors and where opening width is not crucial.
   
2. "Maximiser" Retractable Gear - Provides a wider unobstructed opening than traditional retractable gear due to the springs and arms being mounted to the door away from the side of the incoming car.
   
3. "Ultra" Retractable Gear - A popular choice made by Henderson. A traditional gear with jamb mounted springs and solid bar arms used mainly on heavier doors and where opening width is not crucial.
   
4. "Delta Type" Canopy Gear - A robust gear that intrudes into the garage 250mm (10") less than top sprung canopy gear and also can be automated without using a canopy door converter arm.
